Join Us for a Fun Weekend of Contra Dancing!
This dance weekend is held in an idyllic rustic venue. Don’t let that frighten you away as there is running water, great food, and dry lodging available. One can enjoy tent, RV camping or shared cabin bunkhouses. Also enjoy hiking, swimming, possibly rock wall climbing, a boat ride around the lake, or just a quiet respite in the sun or shade. The dances will be held in a wonderful air-conditioned, well-lit gymnasium with a suspended wood gym floor and bountiful free parking.

Come – Enjoy with friends at this beautiful rural dance weekend on the lake! Swimming is encouraged. There will be lifeguards on duty at certain times. For those who really need to stay connected, the camp has Wi-Fi but it can be slow at times.
Meals include Saturday, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Sunday Breakfast, and Sunday Lunch. Meals may also be purchased separately. The food, by the way, is excellent! We pay the camp for the number of meals and lodging committed at registration, so your early registration is much appreciated. You are welcome to bring your own meals if you so desire.
Lodging this year will be several shared primitive tent sites for camping, we have 2 RV sites, first come, first serve, and 3 shared bunk cabins (12 to a cabin). The cabins may go quickly so please sign up early. Otherwise, you will need to stay in tent camping. Sleeping in the cars are not permitted. There are hotels about 10-25 minutes down the road. Children are welcome - Meals/Lodging only for children (ages 5-11) have reduced prices. There are no special children's programs planned. Please do not allow children to roam freely about the dance floor. There is swimming and boating for qualified persons as equipment allows.
There are no discounted meals/lodging for any children older than 11 or any adults.
Full refunds less a $25 processing fee will be given up to 21 days prior to the start of the event. If less than 21 days, we can give a 50% refund on the dance portion only, however, due to commitments already made, we are unable to refund meals and lodging after May 15, 2025. We suggest you purchase the insurance should you be concerned about any unforeseen events. The insurance will not pay for changing your mind.

Sorry - Discounts may not be stacked. The registration allows for one discount per order. If two or more persons in your party qualify for different discounts, please complete separate registration orders. Guaranteed - If more than 100 full weekenders sign up/pay prior to June 1, I will refund $10 per full weekend registered dancer!
* There is a full kitchen and a refrigerator available at the gym. Gluten-free foods may be stored at the Red Cottage.
NOTE: Looking for a couple of volunteers to make the snacks and gluten free meals!! Ask Tonya for the details.
Please pre-print your individual tickets and bring them with you to the dances and the meal and lodging entries. This will speed up our registration process. We should have all the bugs worked out this year. 🤞

Bobcat Opossum is Sean Hoffman and Ellen Coplin. They draw inspiration and repertoire from traditional music across several genres including Irish, Americana, bluegrass, classical, and old-time music.

Gaye is a wonderfully versatile contra dance caller with many years of experience. Her programs are exciting and entertaining and truly embody the magic of dancing!

Dwayne is a wonderfully powerful and energetic caller from Elkhart, IN. He has been dancing and calling contras, squares ,waltzes, polkas, and some English and Scottish dances for over 40 years. He is well-known for seamlessly melding the abilities novice and experienced dancers allowing for an enjoyable experience on the dance floor for everyone. He will call Dutch Crossing this year. (ladies/gents)
*The Recreation events will need to be paid in person, with cash, at the venue; this form will just let us know the interest level.
